Futkal shorts for street soccer

Futkal short for futbol sa kalye is a Filipino term for street soccer. It is an alternative way of playing football specially here in the Philippines where you usually play in open fields. It is a game that may open the doors to playing football and open the doors to transcend ordinary lives into better one’s. It can also be a new aged Filipino recreational sport, a household name that kids would love to play every afternoon just like “patintero”, “habulan”, “cops & robbers” played by everyone and anyone.

Futkal is an alternative to the street

Futkal is a seed that can be planted in poverty stricken areas where violence, abuse, vices are plagued around the community. A seed that can capture the kids of the streets that have lost their youths, and provide them with a second chance in life.

Riding their bikes for children dreams

Give 'em a yellow jersey ! The Tour de France champions this time are the volunteers of the nationwide french association Rêves.

In the last hot summer, they rolled up their sleeves and set up a 2000kms bike ride around France to raise funds for children stuck in hospital. A charity race featuring rivers, forests, mountains, but above all sweat, efforts, ups and downs as life does.

The goal ? Talk about the children on TV's, radios, newspapers, and raise awareness about young children who have the energy to live life to the full and overcome the challenges of their condition.

Wanna help the children ? Check www.reves.fr

Big thanks to all: you are the ones who make it happen everyday. Congrats.
